Hope for the Holidays 2024

Whiskers and Tails has been filling the needs of families, individuals and companion animals for over 25 years. Our mission is not only to save the lives of animals by helping the humans that care for them but, to change their lives as well.

No one should be forgotten or have to go without on Christmas day.

Human and animal food, animal prescription foods, human medical supplies and needs, heat, clothing, and the basic needs of life are not too much to ask for and that is exactly why we offer this program.

Seniors and veterans will often go without just to by a cheap bag of dog or cat food because their companion animal is the only family they have. Women and some men leave everything behind just to get their children, companion animals and themselves out of an abusive situation. They walk away with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Displaced homemakers that are starting over often end up with nothing when the divorce is finalized. they need help to get back on their feet.

Low to no income companion animal families might be working full time but their pay doesn't always show it. They have to make choices on what bills to pay or needs to meet first or having food on the table or in the bowls of their companion animals.

We believe that the basic needs of life shouldn't have to come with sacrifices or choices. We believe that everyone deserves to have for themselves and their companion animals. We feel that everyone should have warm clothing. We believe that everyone deserves to have a little hope for the holidays.

That is why we work with our families all year long and why we ask people just like you to virtually adopt one of them for the holidays. It makes a huge difference and it's a memory they will never forget because the impact you make today, changes their tomorrow.
