Spread Joy This Holiday Season: Virtually Adopt a Family and Their Pets

It’s hard to believe that the holiday season is upon us once again. As we welcomed our Hope for the Holidays 2024 program on September 17th, we are thrilled to announce that some families have already been chosen. Our hearts are filled with excitement and anticipation as we eagerly await to see who will be chosen next.

However, we are facing a challenging year. The current economic climate has impacted us significantly, and we are concerned that virtual adoptions may decline this holiday season. We cannot let any of our seniors, veterans, teens, survivors of domestic violence, displaced homemakers, or families be left out. The holidays can be a difficult time, with depression and suicide rates often increasing. Your support is more crucial now than ever before.

How You Can Make a Difference

Virtually Adopt a Family: By virtually adopting one of our families, you can make a direct impact on their lives. Your support will ensure that they have the resources they need to celebrate the holidays with joy and dignity. Imagine the smiles on their faces as they find food in their pantry and gifts under the tree on Christmas morning, knowing that someone cared enough to make their holiday special.

Join Our Fundraising Event: We invite you to join us on November 2nd from noon to 4 pm for our fundraising event. This event is not just about raising funds; it’s about coming together as a community to support those in need. Your presence and contributions will help us provide essential resources for both humans and their beloved companion animals.

Why Your Support Matters

  • Seniors: Many of our seniors live alone and rely on their pets for companionship. Your support helps them keep their furry friends by their side.

  • Veterans: Our veterans have given so much for our country. Let’s give back by ensuring they have a joyful holiday season.

  • Teens: Adolescence can be a challenging time. Your support provides stability and joy for teens in need.

  • Survivors of Domestic Violence: Your contributions help survivors rebuild their lives and create new, happy memories.

  • Displaced Homemakers and Families: Many families are struggling to make ends meet. Your support ensures they have a holiday filled with hope and happiness.

How to Get Involved

  • Visit our website to learn more about the families available for virtual adoption.

  • Donate online or at our fundraising event.

  • Share our mission with your friends and family to help spread the word.

Together, we can make this holiday season a time of joy and hope for everyone in our community.

Thank you for your generosity and support.

Please make sure to grab some family and friends and head out to our online event November 2nd

Shirley had no money for the vet when

her cat got sick. The vet told her to just put

the cat down if she couldn't afford to pay

for his care.

MowZer was the only family she had. She

would have been devastated and

we all know what an emotional toll that is

for an elderly woman.

Shirley would have gone into a deep

depression if she would have lost MowZer.

We came in and paid the vet bill with

donations that came from you. MowZer is

still here five years later. Shirley is doing

well and she is very happy that her

little one is still with her.
