Hope for the Holidays 2025:

Every Tag Holds a Story

As the year winds down, Whiskers and Tails invites you to be part of something extraordinary. Our Hope for the Holidays 2025 campaign is more than a seasonal gesture—it’s a lifeline for survivors of domestic violence and families in crisis. Each tag represents a real person or companion animal hoping to be virtually adopted. Each one is a story waiting for someone to say, “I see you. I choose you.”

💌 Letters of Hope & The Talking Point Series

Every week, we release a new Letters of Hope video—raw, heartfelt stories from survivors who’ve found the courage to speak. These voices are paired with our Talking Point Series, a weekly video update that shares behind-the-scenes moments, campaign milestones, and the impact your support is making. You can watch the first episode of The Talking Point Series to see how this movement is unfolding.

These stories are not just content—they’re connection. They’re the emotional heartbeat of our campaign.

🐾 How to Virtually Adopt

  • Scroll through the tags and choose a survivor or family to support.

  • Email us at whiskersandtails2@gmail.com with the name of the tag you’d like to adopt.

  • Send gifts by December 18th so we can deliver them in time.

  • Adopt more than one if your heart leads you there—every act of kindness matters.

We keep every tag up until the season ends. No one should feel forgotten. No one should lose hope.

💖 For Those Who Might Not Get Adopted

Not every tag will be chosen. That’s the hard truth. But your general donations help us fill in the gaps—providing warmth, dignity, and care to those who might otherwise go without. Whether it’s a heater, a bag of pet food, or a holiday gift for a child, your support ensures no one is left behind.

You can see the spirit of this generosity in Adopting 10 Families For Christmas 🎄🦄💜, where community action brings joy to those who need it most. And if you need a reminder of why this matters, Chase Doesn't Want the Holidays to End 😸 captures the emotional pull of the season—hope, comfort, and the longing to be remembered.

Why It Matters

This campaign isn’t just about gifts—it’s about rewriting stories. It’s about showing survivors that their lives matter, that healing is possible, and that community can be a source of transformation.

Whether you adopt a tag, share a video, or make a donation, you become part of a movement that says: You are not alone. You are worthy of joy. You are loved.

Shirley had no money for the vet when

her cat got sick. The vet told her to just put

the cat down if she couldn't afford to pay

for his care.

MowZer was the only family she had. She

would have been devastated and

we all know what an emotional toll that is

for an elderly woman.

Shirley would have gone into a deep

depression if she would have lost MowZer.

We came in and paid the vet bill with

donations that came from you. MowZer is

still here five years later. Shirley is doing

well and she is very happy that her

little one is still with her.
