Welcome to Whiskers and Tails! By accessing our website (whiskersandtails.org ), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We are dedicated to both human and animal welfare and providing resources to support low-income families and individuals and their companion animals..

2. Use of Website

Our site is intended for individuals and organizations who support our efforts. . You may not use our content or services for unlawful purposes, nor may you distribute, modify, or reproduce any materials without our express permission.

3. Donations & Payments

Whiskers and Tails accepts donations to support our humane and human outreach and assistance programs. All contributions are voluntary and non-refundable. Transactions are processed securely, and donor information is protected as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

4. Outreach and Assistance 

We provide aid and assistance to pre-approved individuals and families. Applications were received and reviewed, and approved by our board of directors before any assistance was provided. None of the families or individuals that we offer assistance to are given any money, grants or the like. Should a veterinarian need to be paid for their services, and the animal's owner has been approved - the vet is paid directly by us. The funds donated for vetting do not go to any family member or individual.

Any advice or resources offered through our website do not constitute legal guarantees regarding adoption outcomes.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including images, text, and branding, is owned by Whiskers and Tails or used with permission. Unauthorized use of our materials is prohibited.

6. Third-Party Links & Resources

Our website may link to third-party sites for additional information. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee the completeness or reliability of all content. By using our site, you acknowledge that we are not liable

Shirley had no money for the vet when

her cat got sick. The vet told her to just put

the cat down if she couldn't afford to pay

for his care. 

MowZer was the only family she had. She

would have been devastated and 

we all know what an emotional toll that is

for an elderly woman. 

Shirley would have gone into a deep 

depression if she would have lost MowZer.

We came in and paid the vet bill with 

donations that came from you. MowZer is 

still here five years later. Shirley is doing

well and she is very happy that her 

little one is still with her.

​​Disclosure - We prioritize our family's safety and have a privacy policy in place for their protection because we work with so many sensitive situations.. This is why you will see more animal images than humans. This is how we protect the privacy of the families that we help, such as survivors of domestic violence, seniors who live alone, and displaced homemakers, as well as teens and children. We do not give out addresses, utility or other account information, workplace information or other types or kinds of private information.  Thank you for your understanding.
