This holiday season we reach " the forgotten", the elderly that live all alone. Their kids are grown and gone. The physically and mentally impaired? Do you ever wander what they do for the holidays? Do they spend it alone or are they with loved ones? What about the middle aged veteran that lives alone and suffers from ptsd? Are these folks celebrating the holidays with a friend or family member? Sadly, for some, there is no one
This year, a group of young folks and a few caring individuals that donated funds and items, changed all of that. They got together and made the plans to cook a huge holiday meal and deliver it too with food baskets for each house so that the joy of that single act of Kindness could last just a little bit longer.
Thank you to the teens kids and those few caring individuals that made a the day so much brighter for folks that had no way to get out, no one that would come calling and were thinking that they had no one that cared. Just look what your time, effort and big hearts did. This is what “Hope for the Holidays is all about. Just over 210 people were helped.
It is our hope that you will all join us in gathering items such as food, clothing, toys and more to help those that are struggling. It all makes a difference and we could not be able to do it without the help of people like you, people that really care.
Please make a donation today to help us help even more and animals for the holidays.Whiskers and Tails wants to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year because everyone deserves a little joy no matter what life is throwing at you.
